Horse Training
Experience the magic of the famous Lipizzan or Lipizzaner horses at Vienna's Spanish Riding School. Watch 450 years of Lipizzan tradition at work as their trainers run them through the haute école or 'high school' of equine dressage set to a score of Viennese classical music.
The Spanish Riding School is one of Vienna's most beautiful buildings, but what's inside is even more beautiful. This ticket gets you into the school to witness the training exercises the world-famous Lipizzan stallions do with their trainers.
Guided Tour
Saddle up for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Spanish Riding School that makes a fascinating detour from the usual sites and galleries.
You'll be led around the Baroque Winter Riding School and the Summer Riding School with a guide, where the school's impressive history will come to life. Witness the grand architecture of this place and step into the stables at the Spanish Riding School - home to the magnificent Lipizzan horses!
Lipizzaner Performance
Saddle up for one of the best horse-related performances of your life. Watch the Lipizzaners, Europe’s oldest cultural horse breed, in a special equestrian show in the unique location of the baroque Winter Riding School.
You will see years of training come together in a unique performance and young, energetic colts, and quieter, fully-trained stallions perform in the School Quadrille. It's an equestrian encounter like no other.
